Ghost River Theatre is over the moon to be headed to Edinburgh Fringe 2023 for a full-month run of our critically-acclaimed sensory experience Tomorrow’s Child. The production is being presented by Assembly Festival, the longest-running venue operator at the Fringe. “Assembly has been very interested in the exciting and genre-defying work of Ghost River Theatre… We look forward to partnering with Ghost River Theatre and supporting the show at the 2023 Fringe” says Jodie Adams, Senior Programmer and Producer with Assembly.

Performances of Tomorrow’s Child will run daily from August 4 - 28 with a preview on August 3 at the Assembly Checkpoint venue in central Edinburgh. Tickets will be available in early May 2023 through Edinburgh Fringe.

ABOUT TOMORROW’S CHILD

Adapted by Matthew Waddell, Eric Rose and David van Belle, Tomorrow’s Child is an immersive, multi-layered sonic adventure based on Ray Bradbury’s compelling sci-fi short story. In the imagined retro-future of 1988, new parents Polly and Peter confront the reality that their baby has been born into an alternate dimension. Will they accept the interstellar divide between parents and child? This celebrated production crafts a landscape of sound for blindfolded audiences that is "the audio equivalent of a five-star dinner." (Stephen Hunt, Calgary Herald). Having toured across Canada to critical acclaim since 2014, this summer’s appearance at Edinburgh Fringe marks the exciting international premiere of Tomorrow’s Child.
