This calculation is dependent on the type of lens you are using. Minimum and maximum values refer to lenses ability to zoom.

Throw Calculation 1.52 - 2.89 Lens

If you know your desired image width (W) in cm and want to find out how far away from the surface to place the projector:

Minimum projector distance from surface (cm) = 1.546 x W + 6.99

Maximum projector distance from surface (cm) = 2.948 x W + 7.75

If you know your desired projector distance from surface (P) in cm and want to find out how wide your projected image will be:

Minimum image width = (P - 6.99) / 1.546

Maximum image width = (P - 7.75) / 2.948

Throw Calculation 0.75 - .95 Lens

If you know your desired image width (W) in cm and want to find out how far away from the surface to place the projector:

Minimum projector distance from surface (cm) = 0.761 x W + 8.93

Maximum projector distance from surface (cm) = 0.966 x W + 8.88

If you know your desired projector distance from surface (P) in cm and want to find out how wide your projected image will be:

Minimum image width = (P - 8.93) / 0.761

Maximum image width = (P - 8.88) / 0.966
