GIANT crushes the Betty Mitchell Awards with Best Ensemble!
We are so proud of our amazing ensemble in GIANT! Jamie Konchak, Geneviève Paré, Makambe K Simamba, Jamie Tognazzini, and Morgan Yamada defeated all their formidable opponents in a tight, blow-by-blow that could have been anyone’s match. Congratulations to our champions!
And yet another knock-out punch goes to Makambe for winning TWO DORA AWARDS (OUTSTANDING NEW PLAY, OUTSTANDING PERFORMANCE OF AN INDIVIDUAL) for her show: OUR FATHERS, SONS, LOVERS and LITTLE BROTHERS in Toronto!
And congratulations to all the nominees of this year’s Betty’s. GIANT was a heavy-hitter with 8 nominations this season.
