Friends can come from the most unlikely places. Peggy has been a mother, a wife, and a painter. Recently divorced and back at school, she takes a job supporting George, a disabled man. What happens is a wonderful and most unusual journey of friendship. George and Peggy navigate food courts, museums, and part-time jobs, looking for victories of all kinds, and in the process, help each other stand up a little taller. I Love Mondays explores the strength of the human heart, and the power of friendship. It looks at disability in our society, and asks; “who is really disabled?”. Directed by Duval Lang |
