Praise for Mesa

“Mesa is a road trip worth taking. Check it out. Bring your grandparents.”

Martin Morrow, FFWD

“The best road trip adventure to hit the Calgary stage…As (Grandpa) Bud, Christopher Hunt’s performance is outstanding…embodying his 93 years right down to his rubber shoe covers. The show is complete with incredible road music, performed by the funny and talented Marshall Hopkins.”

Bob Clark, Calgary Herald

“Mesa reminds us that the world is not always a maze of freeways and McRestaurants. A play for the mind, heart, and soul.”

Louis B. Hobson, Calgary Sun

“Brilliantly written...Mesa is a warm, wonderful, and funny play.”

St. Thomas Times-Journal

“Heartfelt and funny.” Colin Mclean, Edmonton Sun

“A road map to the heart…nearly everything about Mesa is odd and surprising. It’s lack of sentimentality, its perspective on the exotic, its reaction to America, its sense of humour…a beautifully written play.”

Liz Nicholls, Edmonton Journal
